Exploration
Over the past 12 years, Tanami Gold NL has built a high quality tenement portfolio in the Tanami-Arunta Province of Central Australia comprising a total landholding of some 42,730 square kilometres. The Province's prospectivity is underpinned by its increasing gold inventory of 11 million ounces, giving it the largest known gold endowment of any Palaeoproterozic gold province in Australia.
With the principal objective of discovering a world class gold deposit in the Province, the Company's exploration programs over the last 12 months have focused on:
- 'Greenfields' exploration of priority targets throughout the Company's large prospective landholding.
- 'Brownfields' exploration centred on the Coyote and Bald Hill deposits aimed at further increasing the Coyote Gold Project resource inventory and boosting gold production.
